G4 x FGR21: AN INSPIRING AND CREATIVE ADVENTURE
FGR (Friday Group Ride) also known as “Full Gaz Ride” is a group of friends with a passion for cycling, all from different backgrounds, between business leaders, locals and meeting to ride in the United Arab Emirates , created in 2021 by Mike Mair and Bart Van Dries.
A great friendship with Geoffroy Lequatre, founder of the G4 brand and designer, was born thanks to a mutual friend, Khaled, a true pioneer of cycling in the Emirates. His commitment has shaped the local cycling scene, and without him, cycling in this region would not be what it is today.
“Thanks to him, I've had the opportunity to meet some incredible cyclists and immerse myself in a vibrant community, where a passion for cycling blends with a strong aesthetic sensibility. The FGR, led by Mike Mair, is much more than just a group of cyclists. It embodies a unique vision of cycling, fashion and sharing. Bart Van Dries, an equally passionate Belgian, also welcomed me with open arms, and together we imagined an exclusive collection of ultra-limited edition jerseys.” - Geoffroy Lequatre

As you know from G4, each piece is unique in its style and design, but also in its technical features, and this outfit is no exception!
- This technical jersey is made from a perfect blend of top-of-the-range Italian technical fabrics, providing maximum breathability and ventilation on the bike, thanks in particular to the “mesh” section on the sleeves and sides.
In the Emirates, the sun beats down hard, so it was essential to choose fabrics with UPF 50+ UV protection to protect the skin from harmful rays.

- As for the checkered cycling bib-shorts, they've been made with a sheathing compression fabric for optimum muscle support.
