There’s 25 candles atop Guillaume’s birthday cake which pays homage to the land of his birth, the French-speaking part of Canada. It’s layers of feather-light vanilla sponge sandwiched together with maple flavoured ice-cream and topped with Chantilly cream and chopped, toasted pecans. Well, it is a special occasion!
